First of all, don't read these until you've watched the Big Lebowski (preferably at least twice). You just won't appreciate them to the full extent otherwise.
Second, I was struck by how many different influences in my life led me to these articles. 1)I heard about them in Bluff Magazine. 2)It drew my interest because it combined one of my favorite movies, The Big Lebowski, with one of my favorite pastimes, poker. 3)The author, hdouble, wrote "in the spirit of the Sports Guy", the Sports Guy being my favorite columnist.
