Re: Worst Day of Poker Ever

To Billy: Sorry you had such a rough day yesterday, man. That sucks.

To the readers: I had a better than average day yesterday, and Billy actually played a large role in that. I was getting pretty down, because I felt like I was making money plays and still getting beat left and right. And just before I went on major tilt and blew my entire online bankroll, Billy encouraged me to keep playing solid poker and not to despair. He reminded me that the odds would hold up in the long run. The hugest favor he did, however, was offering to actually sit and watch the way I was playing my hands, and offer his advice on how to improve my winnings. This turned out to be just what I needed. I felt more confident that certain plays were the right ones, and I received some constructive criticism about how to play other hands. It was great, and I recommend it to anyone that can't figure out how to plug the holes in his game. Iron sharpens iron. Get a fresh set of eyes to look over your shoulder. That new perspective can prove to be invaluable.

So again, I owe my friend a bundle, and I'm sorry he had such a rough day. But with all the profitable months he's had leading up to yesterday, I'm sure he'll be just fine.

To Billy: So don't come asking for your cut of my winnings ... you'll get NADA!
