In case you were wondering what happened after I made the comment about checking it down. Well the guy that was all in survived with king high. A little while later, I looked down at pocket queens on the button and put him all in. He woke up with kings and we both flopped sets. So now I was the one really short stacked. Then I lost an all in with K-6 suited to someone who had K-4 and hit the 4 on the river. So I guess you could call it karma.
